He stated, &#8220;The experience that we had in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/despite-insistence-by-democrat-politicians-and-medical-elites-empirical-evidence-does-not-conclusively-show-that-masks-reduce-the-spread-of-covid\/\" title=\"Despite Insistence by Democrat Politicians and Medical Elites, Empirical Evidence DOES NOT Conclusively Show that Masks Reduce the Spread of COVID\">high school<\/a> and college is not the experience that kids today are having, and hasn&#8217;t been for, I don&#8217;t know, 10 years, maybe 20.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When Maher asked if parents were a big part of the problem, Musk responded, &#8220;Well, I suppose in some cases&#8230;but I think the parents are just generally not aware of what their kids are being taught, or what they&#8217;re not being taught.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Musk shared an example of a friend whose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/elon-musk-issues-warning-to-parents-about-public-schools\/\" title=\"Elon Musk Issues Warning To Parents About Public Schools\">daughters attend high school<\/a> in the Bay Area. When asked about the first few presidents of the United States, they could only name Washington and knew that he was a slave owner.
