Well, now, New York is one step closer to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-official-tries-to-walk-back-gas-stove-ban-talk\/\" title=\"Biden Official Tries to Walk Back Gas Stove Ban Talk\">banning gas stoves<\/a> in new buildings. On Thursday, Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) announced that a budget deal had been reached that would prohibit gas hookups in new buildings. Existing buildings and gas stoves will not be affected under this deal, it should be noted. According to Hochul\u2019s office, this would be an airtight ban as well.<\/p>\n<p>Katy Zielinski, a spokeswoman for the governor\u2019s office, said on Friday that no such measure was included in the deal. \u201cThe new law will not have any loopholes that will undermine the intent of this measure,\u201d Hochul\u2019s spokeswoman Katy Zielinski told The New York Times. \u201cThere will not be any option for municipalities to opt out.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Democrats enthusiastically pummeling New York into the ground are about to pass a statewide ban of gas hookups on new construction. Of course, there is big money to be made in the government-mandated electrification of everything. Groups that push these mandates often stand to financially gain from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/media-biden-isnt-banning-gas-stoves-and-its-good-that-he-is\/\" title=\"Media: Biden Isn\u2019t Banning Gas Stoves, And It\u2019s Good That He Is\">gas stove bans<\/a>, and in turn haul in taxpayer money thanks to Democrat-enacted schemes, according to Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>At the federal level, the Biden administration is considering a proposed energy efficiency rule from the Department of Energy (DOE) that could remove up to 50% of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nearly-50-of-gas-stoves-could-be-removed-from-market-under-potential-new-energy-standard-report\/\" title=\"Nearly 50% Of Gas Stoves Could Be Removed From Market Under Potential New Energy Standard: Report\">current gas stoves<\/a> from the U.S. market if it is enacted.
