Sanders argued that the Republican Party has become a right-wing extremist party, with many leaders who no longer believe in democracy. He also pointed out that many Republicans maintain the lie that Trump won the election and are working to deny certain groups the right to vote.<\/p>\n<h3>Why Won&#8217;t Democrats Primary Biden?<\/h3>\n<p>When asked why no leading Democrat is willing to contest the nomination in the primaries, Sanders responded, &#8220;I suspect that it has to do with a fear of the growth of right-wing extremism in this country.&#8221; He believes that maintaining democracy is crucial and that there is a great fear in the country about attacks on it.<\/p>\n<h3>Biden&#8217;s Accomplishments<\/h3>\n<p>While Sanders acknowledges that Biden has not done everything he would like to see done, he believes that the president has accomplished a lot.
