In a video posted on both TikTok and Instagram, Mulvaney addressed the accusations and criticism they had received.<\/p>\n<h3>Standing Up for Themselves<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cA lot has been said about me,\u201d Mulvaney said in the clip. \u201cSome of which is so far from my truth that I was hearing my name and I didn\u2019t know who they were talking about sometimes. It was so loud that I didn\u2019t even feel part of the conversation so I decided to take the backseat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mulvaney went on to say that being called \u201ctoo feminine and over the top\u201d reminded them of being teased during childhood. \u201cBut this time it\u2019s from other adults,\u201d Mulvaney said. \u201cAnd if they\u2019re going to accuse me of anything it should be that I\u2019m a theater person and that I\u2019m camp. But this is just my personality and it always has been.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Spreading Love and Positivity<\/h3>\n<p>Mulvaney also spoke about the need to be kind and compassionate towards others. \u201cWhat I\u2019m struggling to understand is the need to dehumanize and to be cruel. Dehumanization has never fixed anything in history,\u201d the influencer said.
