According to critics in the medical field, his edits suggest that he was trying to exaggerate the risk of cardiac death from mRNA vaccines in males 18 to 39.<\/p>\n<p>Ladapo reported the data to show that there was a sharp increase in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/studies-suggest-drinking-2-3-cups-of-coffee-a-day-could-be-good-for-heart-health\/\" title=\"Studies Suggest Drinking 2-3 Cups of Coffee a Day Could Be Good for Heart Health\">heart-related deaths<\/a> among young men in that age range and recommended they not get the vaccine, which contradicted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\u2019s (CDC) stance on the vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>Ladapo based this recommendation not only on the Florida study but also studies from Scandinavia, England, and the rest of the United States.<\/p>\n<h3>Questioning the Safety and Efficacy of Vaccines<\/h3>\n<p>Since their rollout, Ladapo has questioned the safety and efficacy of the vaccines and has been critical of policies mandating them to the ire of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-administration-finally-announces-end-of-emergency-declaration-for-monkeypox\/\" title=\"Biden Administration Finally Announces End Of Emergency Declaration For \u2026 Monkeypox\">federal public health agencies<\/a> and media that promote the \u201csafe and effective\u201d narrative.<\/p>\n<p>In Politico, Matt Hitchings, an assistant professor of biostatistics at the University of Florida, called his edits \u201ca lie.\u201d Hitchings, who disagreed with the findings in the initial study, said there was political motivation behind his Ladapo\u2019s changes.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Salmon, director of the Institute for Vaccine Safety at the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, said his edits were \u201ctroubling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe took out stuff that didn\u2019t support his position,\u201d Salmon said. \u201cThat\u2019s really a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Harvey Risch, professor emeritus of epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health, who\u2019s sided with Ladapo on his assessment of the vaccines, disagreed with the criticism, calling Ladapo \u201can honest broker and thus trustworthy in his methods and conclusions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not seeing any issues of substance here,\u201d Risch said.<\/p>\n<h2>Ladapo Responds to Criticism<\/h2>\n<p>Ladapo responded to the criticism on Twitter stating, \u201cPhD-trained physician revises report based on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/florida-surgeon-general-faces-criticism-over-survey-editing\/\" title=\"Florida Surgeon General Faces Criticism Over Survey Editing\">scientific expertise = \u2018scandalous altering<\/a> of results.\u2019 Fauci enthusiasts are terrified and will do anything to divert attention from the risks of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines\u2014especially cardiac deaths.
