As a result, the entire helicopter fleet has been grounded until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>All noncritical pilots will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/army-grounds-helicopter-fleet-for-mandatory-safety-training-after-crashes\/\" title=\"Army grounds helicopter fleet for mandatory safety training after crashes\">undergo mandatory safety training<\/a> to ensure they have the knowledge, training, and awareness to safely complete their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/only-half-of-f-22-raptors-are-combat-effective\/\" title=\"Only Half of F-22 Raptors are \u201cCombat Effective\u201d\">assigned missions<\/a>. The training will focus on safety and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/implicit-bias-is-nothing-but-divisive-junk-science\/\" title=\"\u2018Implicit Bias\u2019 Is Nothing But Divisive Junk Science\">training protocols<\/a>, according to a statement by Gen. James McConville.<\/p>\n<h3>Army Identifies Nine Soldiers Killed in Helicopter Collision<\/h3>\n<p>The most recent crash occurred in Alaska, where two Apache helicopters collided during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-eu-could-give-mig-29-fighter-jets-to-ukraine-to-fight-russia\/\" title=\"The EU Could Give MiG-29 Fighter Jets to Ukraine to Fight Russia\">training flights<\/a>, killing three soldiers. This follows a similar incident in March, where two helicopters collided flying out of Fort Campbell in Kentucky, killing nine.<\/p>\n<p>All active-duty pilots must complete the training by May 5, while National Guard and Army Reserve units have until May 31. McConville emphasized that the stand-down is &#8220;an important step to make certain we are doing everything possible to prevent accidents and protect our personnel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A team from Fort Novosel will be investigating the most recent crash beginning Saturday, according to the Associated Press.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time the Army has instituted a stand-down of this scale.
