Kat Cammack (R-FL) is not ready to endorse either former President Donald Trump or Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for the 2024 presidential race. In an interview with the Washington Examiner, Cammack stated that she has had productive conversations with both men and will continue to do so.<\/p>\n<p>While Cammack remains undecided, she did make it clear that the next president of the United States will be a Floridian. Currently, Trump has received endorsements from 11 Florida representatives, leaving only eight who have yet to make an endorsement for 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Although DeSantis has not officially announced his candidacy, he is expected to do so as early as mid-May. His political team has reportedly been reaching out to members of Florida&#8217;s delegation, urging them to avoid making endorsements in the near future. Despite this, Rep. Laurel Lee recently became the first Florida representative to endorse DeSantis.<\/p>\n<p>As the remaining Florida Republican representatives decide on their 2024 position, all eyes are on Cammack and her colleagues.
