The Swiss conglomerate, which owns popular brands like Purina, Gerber, Nescafe, and KitKat, reported a 13.4% and 12.4% price hike in its Latin American and North American markets, respectively. Meanwhile, the European market saw a 10.7% price increase, and the Chinese market saw a 3.9% price increase. Despite these challenges, Nestl\u00e9 reported strong organic growth and credited its portfolio optimization efforts and responsible pricing for offsetting the impact of cost inflation.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Nestl\u00e9 is not alone in facing rising prices. Inflation in the United States rose 5.0% between March 2022 and March 2023, with food inflation continuing to trend well above other categories.
