In an interview with Newsmax on Monday, Trump said he was &#8220;shocked&#8221; to learn of Carlson&#8217;s exit and praised the former host as a &#8220;good man.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m surprised. Carlson&#8217;s show, &#8220;Tucker Carlson Tonight,&#8221; which consistently ranked as the highest-rated show on cable news, aired its last episode on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past several years, Carlson has provided some of the most insightful and newsworthy analysis of current events among D.C. political pundits.
