According to CNN, Lemon was offered a meeting with management but instead chose to release a statement on Twitter. This isn&#8217;t exactly out of character for Lemon, whose days&#8217; recaps on his now-canceled show were rarely accurate. In fact, the Media Research Center has compiled a list of his &#8220;worst&#8221; moments. Lemon claimed he was blindsided by his firing and not given any indication that he would be let go, but his comment wishing his former colleagues the best should have been a dead giveaway that something was amiss.
