This week, we&#8217;ll also see early readings of first-quarter U.S. GDP, personal consumer expenditure index (PCE) for March, and consumer confidence numbers for April. These reports will be closely scrutinized for signs of an economic slowdown, which could impact the Federal Reserve&#8217;s monetary policy path.<\/p>\n<p>Money market traders have priced in an 85% chance of the Fed hiking rates by 25 bps next month, as per CME Group\u2019s Fedwatch tool. At 06:00 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis were down 80 points, or 0.24%, S&#038;P 500 e-minis were down 9 points, or 0.22%, and Nasdaq 100 e-minis were down 19.5 points, or 0.15%.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Bed Bath &#038; Beyond Inc\u2019s shares tumbled 41.5% as the home goods retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after it failed to secure funds to stay afloat.
