This comes after an investigation was launched following a complaint. <\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Shell expressed deep regret, saying, \u201cI\u2019m truly sorry I let my Comcast and NBCUniversal colleagues down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shell had been with Comcast for about two decades and took over as CEO in 2020. He oversaw the media company\u2019s broad portfolio of businesses, including the Universal film studio and television business, the Peacock streaming service, and Universal\u2019s theme parks.<\/p>\n<p>Comcast has not yet named a successor. <\/p>\n<p>One of the challenges Shell\u2019s successor will face is the decline of the traditional television business.
