The prototype chips will be designed for mobile devices, laptops, and other electronic devices.<\/p>\n<p>According to industry executives cited by the Financial Times, Arm&#8217;s newest chip, which it has been working on for the past six months, is &#8220;more advanced&#8221; than any of its previous products.<\/p>\n<p>Arm has no intention of selling or licensing the product but is instead working on a prototype of the chip.<\/p>\n<p>Arm is a major supplier of intellectual property to many chip companies, particularly in mobile phones, and has partnerships with major chip contract manufacturers.
