Officials said they plan to file more charges and may recall a grand jury to seek an indictment in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I tell you that this is just the tip of the iceberg \u2026 we\u2019re going to make sure every one of those victims has justice and not just the deceased,\u201d District Attorney Mike Segrest said during a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire is not naming the suspects in keeping with a policy of depriving mass shooters of undeserved notoriety.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said they could not immediately release a motive as the investigation is ongoing. Authorities previously said they found shell casings from handguns at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting happened Saturday night at a dance studio in Dadeville, a small town of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.census.gov\/search-results.html?searchType=web&#038;cssp=SERP&#038;q=Dadeville%20city,%20Alabama\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about 3,000 people<\/a>, where the Sweet 16 birthday party was being held for a teenager named Alexis Dowdell.<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><a class=\"c-link c-link--focus-visible\" href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-stringify-link=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-82521\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The four victims who died have been identified as Philstavious Dowdell, Alexis Dowdell\u2019s 18-year-old brother; Shaunkivia Nicole \u201cKeke\u201d Smith, 17; Marsiah Emmanuel \u201cSiah\u201d Collins, 19; and Corbin Dahmontrey Holston, 23, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.al.com\/news\/2023\/04\/dadeville-birthday-party-shooting-watch-live-press-conference-about-the-investigation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to AL.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis Dowdell <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/alabama-birthday-party-shooting-dadeville-7fcbb4eae66674a5dfb73e2fd8c42cf8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told the AP<\/a> her brother, Philstavious, died in her arms after he tried to push her out of the dance studio. \u201cI wasn\u2019t crying at the moment because I was trying to be strong instead of panicking. And so I said, \u2018You\u2019re going to be all right. You\u2019re a fighter, you\u2019re strong,&#8217;\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n<p>Thirty-two others were injured in the attack.
