Actor Alan Ritchson Stands for Movies That Honor &#8216;the Name of Christ&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hdvX9NGiQf\">https:\/\/t.co\/hdvX9NGiQf<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1wmhffOP5H\">pic.twitter.com\/1wmhffOP5H<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CBN News (@CBNNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CBNNews\/status\/1648361425696440327?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 18, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He said it \u201cdoesn\u2019t change the fact that people are hearing the name of Christ in movie theaters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if that\u2019s where the pulpit is for people who wouldn\u2019t normally step foot in a church, then that\u2019s still a great way to have that conversation,\u201d he added. \u201cIt matters that these films get supported.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cReacher\u201d star said when Christians support faith-based movies it sends an important message to Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther people in [Hollywood] watch this and a groundswell kind of takes place in Hollywood that changes things in a real meaningful way,\u201d Ritchson told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about his upcoming faith-based movie \u201cOrdinary Angels,\u201d Ritchson <a href=\"https:\/\/jesusrevolution.movie\/prayer-team\">recently<\/a> said his movie is a story about how God uses \u201cbroken\u201d people and those who don\u2019t look like the \u201cperfect Christian\u201d to do His work, the outlet noted.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1681913061093000&#038;usg=AOvVaw1nSUp7X_GMxrPR-OuaxTA7\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod continually shows up in our world in a way that kind of boggles our mind,\u201d Ritchson said. \u201cBecause we, for whatever reason, I think we continue to buy into the idea that \u2026 God chooses heroes to do His work. And it\u2019s just never been the case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the broken and the dysfunctional that God proves His power and strength through,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd this a story of that, too. It\u2019s important that we remember that those who maybe struggle to follow the rules, who don\u2019t look like the perfect Christians, who are the broken, are the people that God has a funny way of expressing Himself through.
