Doomed also pinned a tweet on Walsh\u2019s profile with a racial slur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe caused no financial harm, threatened anyone, [nor] ruined anything,\u201d Doomed said, adding it was \u201ca few silly words on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><a class=\"c-link c-link--focus-visible\" href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-stringify-link=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In the article, WIRED also alleged the hacker provided screenshots of Walsh\u2019s private information and email accounts, including his W2 tax form, direct messages on Twitter with Shapiro from 2017, and emails with conservative commentator Steven Crowder from 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI noticed he panicked and removed his iCloud and stuff,\u201d Doomed said. \u201cI literally only wanted his Twitter account to make stupid tweets. And it worked, both sides are arguing over it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After going live with the story, Cameron posed on Twitter-alternative Mastodon, saying that he \u201cjust got permanently suspended for publishing this story\u201d with a link to the article. A separate post from the WIRED report showed that Twitter suspended him for violating the platform\u2019s policy, which prohibits \u201cthe distribution of hacked materials.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Walsh returned to his Twitter account on Wednesday after regaining access to his feed.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire host first sarcastically asked if he missed \u201canything important\u201d after being away for the last couple of days, followed by a short thread adding getting hacked to the list of backlash he and his family have received in the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the last year my family has been harassed, threatened, doxxed, and now we can add hacked to the list,\u201d Walsh said. \u201cApparently the hacker had an \u2018insider\u2019 who gave him access to my phone. A lot we still don\u2019t know. But we\u2019re finding out. And there will be consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have also made note of the members of the media who openly solicited stolen information from my phone,\u201d Walsh added. \u201cThere will be consequences there too.
