John Fetterman (D., Pa.), just &#8220;once a week&#8221; while he was being treated at Walter Reed Medical Center for what his office <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/fetterman-checks-himself-into-hospital-for-severe-clinical-depression\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">described<\/a> as &#8220;depression,&#8221; according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/politics\/john-fetterman-exclusive-interview-depression-treatment-hospitalization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">puff piece<\/a> published Wednesday in <em>People<\/em> magazine.\t<\/p>\n<p>By comparison, the &#8220;exclusive&#8221; report notes that Fetterman had &#8220;daily visits&#8221; with members of his staff during his six-week stay. The revelation confirms a <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/gisele-left-her-man-fettermans-wife-fled-to-canada-after-senator-entered-hospital-for-depression\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> from February about Gisele taking a road trip to Canada after her husband, who was also recovering from a near-fatal <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/sudden-cardiac-death-doctors-raise-concerns-about-fettermans-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stroke<\/a>, checked himself into Walter Reed.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, Gisele&#8217;s reported actions stand in &#8220;sharp contrast&#8221; to the doting wife narrative projected by the Fetterman campaign after the candidate&#8217;s stroke in May 2022. Social media commenters have also pointed out Gisele&#8217;s habit of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CnIA0OtJTjL\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cropping<\/a> her massive husband out of photos to ensure her fancy shoes are visible in frame.\t<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman&#8217;s wife wrote an <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/gisele-fetterman-politics-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article<\/a> last month for <em>Elle<\/em>, the French fashion magazine, in which she claims running for public office is something she &#8220;would never do.&#8221; That, however, is precisely the sort of rhetoric deployed by ambitious politicians\u2014Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton, for example\u2014before announcing campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman&#8217;s wife&#8217;s husband returned to work on Wednesday but <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/john-fetterman-gives-opening-statement-as-senate-subcommittee-chairman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">struggled<\/a> to perform his duties as chairman of a Senate agriculture subcommittee.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disturbing revelation appears in &#8216;exclusive&#8217; People magazine puff piece Celebrity influencer Gisele Fetterman visited her husband, Sen.
