You know, in physics they call it sort of the Fermi paradox after when Enrico Fermi, he\u2019s an amazing physicist, asked the fundamental question, where are the aliens?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve seen no evidence of aliens,\u201d Musk said, adding that if he did he would instantly post about it on Twitter \u2014 a company that he purchased late last year and where he currently serves as CEO.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Such a tweet would set the internet ablaze, joked Musk, who has 130 million Twitter followers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the jackpot with some 8 billion likes, you know,\u201d he said. \u201cNext-level jackpot if you find the aliens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said the military, which is often suspected of hiding knowledge about aliens, would be acting in its own interest to disclose an extra-terrestrial threat. He paraphrased a defense official who once said the Pentagon would get carte blanche from taxpayers if it produced an alien.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, how much money do you want?\u201d Musk said. \u201cYou got it. They look dangerous. So the fastest way to get a defense budget increase would be to pull out an alien, you know. We\u2019re like, \u2018Yeah, I mean, it could be the invasion. It could be arriving any minute.
