D<\/span>r. Sean Kirkpatrick, the director of the Department of Defense’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, is scheduled to appear as the sole witness<\/a> in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee<\/a> at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

Kirkpatrick, who recently speculated about the potential for an alien \u201cmothership\u201d in the solar system and \u201cextraterrestrial technological probes\u201d visiting Earth, is set to discuss<\/a> the \u201cmission, activities, oversight, and budget\u201d of the AARO, which was created by the Pentagon in 2022 and is tasked with identifying and attributing “unidentified aerial phenomena,\u201d or UAPs, more commonly known as unidentified flying objects<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Kirkpatrick’s testimony comes only a month after the publishing of a draft paper<\/a> he co-authored with Harvard University professor Abraham Loeb, with the abstract of the paper titled \u201cPhysical Constraints on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena\u201d that explored \u201cThe Extraterrestrial Possibility.\u201d <\/p>\n

Kirkpatrick wrote<\/a> in March that \u201can artificial interstellar object could potentially be a parent craft that releases many small probes during its close passage to Earth\u201d and that these \u201csmall probes\u201d or \u201cdandelion seeds\u201d could be separated from the \u201cmothership\u201d by either the gravitational force of the sun or by maneuvering capability.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
