WKRN\/NewsNation via REUTERS.<br \/>\n\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>A flower shop in Nashville refused to provide services to a Republican National Committee fundraiser, citing the GOP&#8217;s role in the recent shooting at a Christian school in the city.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>The FLWR Shop owners published a letter on their Instagram, explaining why they denied service to the GOP event, as reported by Fox News<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/nashville-flower-shop-refuses-service-republican-event-blames-gop-christian-school-shooting\"><span>.<\/span><span> <\/span><span> <\/span><span> <\/span><span> <\/span><span> <\/span><span> <\/span><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>&#8220;We immediately declined this &#8216;opportunity,&#8217; and we want to take this moment to publicly clarify our stance,&#8221; the FLWR Shop wrote in its<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Cq1iKLcLO--\/?hl=en\"><span>letter<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n\t\t<span>.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>The owners also explicitly stated that they &#8220;will not be accepting any of your money&#8221; and that &#8220;the blood of the 3 beautiful babies we lost in Nashville is on that money.&#8221;<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>They also urged others to &#8220;say no to taking money or jobs from the Republican party&#8221; until gun laws are changed.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>The shop owners emphasized that they do not discriminate against conservatives and respect their views and business, but that they cannot ignore the RNC&#8217;s role in creating the tragedy that occurred in Nashville.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>The shooting at Covenant School in Nashville was committed by a transgender shooter who murdered six people, including three children, on March 27.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<span>Following the shooting, Democrats in the Tennessee State House staged a gun reform demonstration, which some have labeled as an insurrection.
