However, Porter&#8217;s staffers claim that it is Porter herself who is the difficult one to work with.\t<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think we should be more honest with the American people about Congress [being] a mess. \u2026 The truth is it&#8217;s hard. It is hard to go to work every day with Marjorie Taylor Greene as a colleague,&#8221; Porter <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tomselliott\/status\/1646103401397116931\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Colbert. <\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, according to Politico, Porter&#8217;s staffers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/women-rule\/2023\/01\/13\/katie-porters-bad-boss-problem-00077874\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raised<\/a> complaints about the boss congresswoman last year, saying that she made &#8220;rude and racist comments&#8221; and &#8220;ridiculed people for reporting sexual harassment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She has made multiple staffers cry and people are generally so anxious to even staff her because if ANYTHING goes wrong she flips out on whatever staffer is present,&#8221; a former Navy veteran and former Wounded Warrior fellow for Porter named Sasha Georgiades <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/rep-katie-porter-used-racist-language-ridiculed-people-reporting-sexual-harassment-ex-staffer-claims\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Fox News. &#8220;She just talks to staffers however she wants.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Text messages that came to light in December depicted Porter berating Georgiades for contracting COVID-19, and Georgiades claims that the congresswoman also &#8220;made fun of individuals whose parents passed away from COVID.&#8221; Porter&#8217;s office denies Georgiades&#8217;s allegations.<\/p>\n<p>After the messages came to light, anonymous Porter staffers posted complaints to Dear White Staffers, a Twitter and Instagram account for Capitol Hill staffers, according to Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thinks she knows better and talks s&#8212; about other members, leadership, staffers, local [elected officials], etc., at full volume, in public, and to literally [anyone] who will listen,&#8221; one post reads.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m willing to expect people to work hard.
