The DNC is appreciative of Elias Law Group\u2019s years of work in service of the values we share,\u201d a DNC spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the Elias Law Group praised the New York City attorney&#8217;s past work with the DNC while saying that he would continue to advise Democratic clients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElias Law Group is proud of the work it has done for the DNC. We look forward to continuing to represent the Democratic Party as well as helping citizens vote, and progressives make change,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Elias is best known for his role in the Steele dossier scandal. As general counsel for the Hilary Clinton presidential campaign in 2016, he retained opposition research firm Fusion GPS to produce a dossier accusing Republican candidate and now former President Donald Trump of colluding with Russian government agents.
