Popovich expressed his view in response to Cruz\u2019s proposal to strengthen school safety measures by providing more armed security. According to Popovich, the Second Amendment is just a game and has been used to cloak legislative proposals. In his podcast \u201cVerdict\u201d with co-host Ben Ferguson, Cruz asserted that many sports institutions and athletes do not value their fans. He also said that these rich athletes hypocritically lecture their customers while remaining ignorant of the topic they speak about.
