When questioned about the matter, a U.S. State Department spokesperson responded that Tunisia should get&#8221; a sovereign choice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Due to their competing systems of governance, some of the United States&#8217; top rivals are included in the partnership of developing countries.
