Sen. Richard Blumenthal<\/a> (D<\/span>-CT) will be discharged from the hospital on Monday and be back in Washington, D.C., for votes next week, his office said on Sunday. <\/p>\n

The 77-year-old Connecticut<\/a> lawmaker broke his knee over the weekend during the UConn Huskies<\/a> victory rally in Hartford, Connecticut<\/a>, when a person in the march tripped and fell on top of him from behind. Earlier Monday, the Huskies won the<\/a> Men’s’s NCAA Basketball National Championship.<\/p>\n
