The government typically takes a minimum of four weeks to vote on an interim alternative.<\/p>\n<p>On social media and in news outlets, the majority of the 40-seat committee members have expressed their desire for Jones to reclaim his former chair.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; My Council District 6 House 52 constituents want Jones to be reinstated ,&#8221; said Jones. State Rep. Gloria Johnson, a fourth Democrat, avoided being kicked out after some Republicans backed her.
