That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m endorsing Ron DeSantis for President.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Continuing on, Massie stated, &#8220;During the six years we served together in Congress, I witnessed Ron fight for economic freedom, personal liberty, fiscal responsibility, and constitutionally limited government.&#8221; He also applauded DeSantis&#8217;s leadership decisions in both his congressional office and as Governor of Florida, noting that the Governor has always surrounded himself with like-minded people.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Rep. Massie also had an open confrontation with hard-Left Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) last week regarding gun control, during which he argued for better school security.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Massie&#8217;s endorsement of DeSantis follows one from Texas Representative Chip Roy, who said, &#8220;America needs a leader who will truly defend her and empower the people against the destructive force of unrestrained government and corporate excess, profligate spending, and woke cultural indoctrination.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Roy&#8217;s statement continued, &#8220;His style of no-nonsense government and fearless rejection of woke \u2018conventional wisdom\u2019 has demonstrated an appeal to all of us based on our shared values as Americans\u2026 It\u2019s time for younger, but proven, leadership to offer America eight solid years of transformational change.
