\n F<\/span>ormer President Donald Trump<\/a> will not be appearing in court in New York<\/a> until December. The judge has also cautioned him against using provocative language that could cause unrest.\n <\/p>\n

\n Judge Juan Merchan has decided that Trump’s appearance in court is not required until the end of the year, with no specific date given yet. Trump’s legal team requested that he be excused from attending the in-person hearing due to security measures.\n <\/p>\n

\n Trump has been charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, according to unsealed court records released after Judge Merchan announced the charges. Trump pleaded not guilty to all 34 counts. He is the first former president in U.S. history to face criminal charges.\n <\/p>\n

\n Although there is no gag order, Judge Merchan has warned both parties against making any remarks that could lead to civil unrest or violence leading up to the former president’s second court appearance.\n <\/p>\n

\n The indictment is from the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and the grand jury heard from Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, in March, who testified that he gave $130,000 to Stormy Daniels during the 2016 campaign. According to the indictment, Trump made 34 false entries in his New York business records to conceal the payment.\n <\/p>\n
