The suspect, a 28-year-old individual who identified as male despite being biologically female, shot her way into the Covenant School before killing three staff members and three 9-year-old children. According to the police, the shooter had carefully planned the massacre over a period of months.<\/p>\n<p>The MNPD confirmed in a press release that the shooter acted alone and was influenced by previous mass murderers. However, the investigators have not yet established a motive for the crime. In addition to the journals and other documentation found in the shooter&#8217;s home and car, her manifesto is also under investigation by the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI.<\/p>\n<p>The shooter had legally purchased seven firearms from gun stores in the Nashville area, which she used during the attack. She fired a total of 152 rounds before being killed by responding officers.
