\n <\/a> (R-GA) had an “intense and in-your-face” interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes<\/i>, which will air on Sunday.\n <\/p>\n

\n The controversial lawmaker’s sit-down was teased by the CBS flagship news program in a tweet, which Greene shared alongside some kind words for veteran journalist Lesley Stahl.\n <\/p>\n

\n The CBS program’s tweet promoting the segment read: “Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, nicknamed MTG, isn\u2019t afraid to share her opinions, no matter how intense and in-your-face they are. She sits down with this Sunday on 60 Minutes.”\n <\/p>\n

\n As the short video ended, Stahl could be seen looking surprised, possibly at something the Georgia congresswoman had said, and remarking, “Wow.”\n <\/p>\n

\n Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger<\/a> (R-IL), a frequent critic of Greene, claimed it was “insane” for the show to interview her.\n <\/p>\n

\n The announcement of the interview comes a few days after Greene stated that she would travel to New York to protest the indictment of former President Donald Trump.\n <\/p>\n

\n Trump’s lawyers said Friday that he is \u201clikely\u201d to turn himself in to New York law enforcement officials on Tuesday afternoon in relation to the indictment. It marks the first time a former U.S. president has been criminally charged.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
