In the messages, the victim reassures Majors that he wouldn&#8217;t be charged and that she had informed the authorities that she did not want charges pressed. Majors&#8217; attorney claims that these messages should exonerate him of any wrongdoing, but their authenticity has not been independently verified.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_203167\" data-slot-rendered-content=\"true\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-203167\">An alleged text message exchange between Jonathan Majors and his supposed domestic violence victim as provided by attorney Priya Chaudhry to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/jonathan-majors-arrest-text-messages-alleged-assault\/\">TheWrap<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Interestingly, these texts were not mentioned in an earlier declaration by Majors&#8217; attorney, which claimed that they had evidence that would exonerate the actor. The evidence included video footage from the vehicle where the supposed dispute took place, witness testimony, and two written statements from the woman recanting her allegations.
