Speaking to reporters on March 31, Jean-Pierre conveyed that she also found out about the news yesterday like everyone else through news reports. White House chief of staff Jeffrey Zients informed President Biden about the situation after reviewing reports. Trump, a Republican, has been indicted for reasons that are currently under seal as confirmed by his legal representatives and the Manhattan District Attorney&#8217;s Office.
