He then proceeded to mention Republican governors Ron DeSantis, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Greg Abbott. Newsom criticized their stances on books, doctors, teachers, librarians, migrants, trans kids, racism, and anti-Semitism. <\/p>\n<p> Newsom&#8217;s initiative has been seen by some as a sign that he is covertly launching a presidential campaign for 2024.
