Elizabeth Warren<\/a>, the anti-Trump Adams, former Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamKinzinger\/status\/1641571282264227841?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adam Kinzinger<\/a>, Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepAdamSchiff\/status\/1641644067254673409?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adam Schiff<\/a>, and even <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ABC\/status\/1641560771950673924?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trump\u2019s ex-attorney Michael Cohen<\/a> say Trump- or anyone else- doesn\u2019t just get a free pass because he\u2019s a 2024 presidential candidate. Yet, it doesn\u2019t take an expert to know that the sole reason Trump ever faced indictment is <em>because <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/03\/31\/trump-indictment-ushers-in-era-of-police-state-politics-in-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">his political enemies requested it.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>In addition to suggesting that Trump is not \u201cabove the law,\u201d former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SpeakerPelosi\/status\/1641594971462541315?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> that the former president has the opportunity to \u201cprove innocence\u201d in court. Of course, the law, smugly touted by Pelosi, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mad.uscourts.gov\/resources\/pattern2003\/html\/patt4cfo.htm#:~:text=The%20presumption%20of%20innocence%20until,charged%20beyond%20a%20reasonable%20doubt.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dictates<\/a> that defendants are <em>presumed<\/em> innocent until proven guilty- not the other way around.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n<p>Whether Pelosi\u2019s \u201cinnocence\u201d comment was a Freudian slip or a genuine assertion, we may never know. What we do know is that for years, Democrats have operated under the belief that their party members and their partisan allies are above the law.<\/p>\n<h2>1. The Criminals Alvin Bragg Refused To Prosecute<\/h2>\n<p>While Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was busy searching for ways to indict Trump, violent criminals were taking over New York City streets. <\/p>\n<div  class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0d9a4c6f70b36ff6cae5cf939fa4437f fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0d9a4c6f70b36ff6cae5cf939fa4437f\"><\/div>\n<p>During Bragg\u2019s first year in office, major crime in New York City increased by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/01\/05\/nyregion\/new-york-crime-stats.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">22 percent<\/a>. Since then, the DA has made a career out of <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/01\/11\/manhattan-da-alvin-bragg-reduces-armed-robbers-felony-charge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reducing charges<\/a> for armed robbers, freeing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11060047\/DA-Alvin-Bragg-DEFENDS-decision-release-teen-brutally-battered-NYPD-cop-24-hours.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cop-beaters<\/a>, relaxing bail, and letting <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/nycs-top-prosecutor-lets-violent-jew-haters-off-easy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">violent antisemites<\/a> off. <\/p>\n<p>Bragg\u2019s soft-on-crime policies may have earned him left-wing billionaire financier\u00a0George Soros\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/gothamist.com\/news\/national-progressive-pac-plans-back-manhattan-da-candidate-alvin-bragg-1-million-cash-infusion\">favor and dollars<\/a>, but even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11876415\/Woke-DA-Alvin-Bragg-whos-set-indict-Trump-one-Americas-controversial.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Democrat-voting New Yorkers<\/a> know that he\u2019s no stranger to giving better treatment to convicts than law-abiding people like this bodega owner who defended himself against a murderous criminal.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <span class=\"2io6YQzacYeoDjxnKBZWIxXShAifJaGmRs3TVFT4nIq9DrBZU724yd0OpNfWtFObztQuCUwwX\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">After a hardworking bodega owner in Manhattan defended himself from a violent ex-con, Alvin Bragg charged the bodega owner with murder and threw him in jail.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, he encourages violent criminals by downgrading over HALF of all felonies in his <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/InJz0jS6Cv\">https:\/\/t.co\/InJz0jS6Cv<\/a>\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vOoEXb6Jzu\">pic.twitter.com\/vOoEXb6Jzu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Marjorie Taylor Greene \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 (@mtgreenee) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mtgreenee\/status\/1638938371639615499?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 23, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/span> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2>2. Hillary Clinton<\/h2>\n<p>If Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/03\/20\/if-democrats-really-cared-about-campaign-finance-laws-hillary-clinton-and-obama-would-have-felt-their-wrath-years-ago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">truly cared<\/a> about campaign finance law violations, they would have already prosecuted several members of their party, including Hillary Clinton. <\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/30\/election-watchdog-fines-clinton-campaign-for-lying-about-steele-dossier-in-finance-filings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2022<\/a>, the Federal Elections Commission fined Clinton\u2019s 2016 presidential campaign for\u00a0falsely attributing the money that the Democrat used to orchestrate the Russian collusion hoax. If Trump is guilty of intent to conceal a campaign finance crime, a motivated prosecutor might look at the DNC and Clinton campaign\u2019s efforts to hide their involvement in the so-called Steele \u201cdossier\u201d and find they were guilty of the same crime.<\/p>\n<div  class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-bbc87ae2015305524a31e69c0165664e fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-bbc87ae2015305524a31e69c0165664e\"><\/div>\n<p>In addition to her election meddling, Clinton and her staff mishandled highly classified information, which resulted in at least 91 security violations. Instead of raiding her house and asking the DOJ to prosecute her, the FBI \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/12\/grassley-to-wray-why-is-there-one-law-for-hunter-biden-and-hillary-another-for-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">inexplicably agreed to destroy<\/a> [Clinton staffers Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson\u2019s] laptops knowing that the contents were the subject of Congressional subpoenas and preservation letters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clinton also played a central role in the decision to abandon four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, where they were murdered by terrorists. <\/p>\n<h2>3. Barack Obama<\/h2>\n<p>Before Clinton was forced to pay for her scheming, President Barack Obama faced \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2013\/01\/obama-2008-campaign-fined-375000-085784\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one of the largest fees ever levied against a presidential campaign<\/a>,\u201d $375,000, for \u201ccampaign reporting violations.\u201d Instead of facing calls for prison time, Obama received years of protection from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/onpolitics\/2018\/08\/23\/trump-campaign-finance-violations-obama-different\/1072220002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">corporate media<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.snopes.com\/news\/2018\/08\/22\/election-law-violations-compared-obama-2008-vs-trump-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fake fact-checkers<\/a>\u00a0who repeatedly downplayed his violation as a proportionally small infraction compared to the billion dollars he raised on the campaign trail.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Election Law-Breakers Like Marc Elias<\/h2>\n<p>Marc Elias has repeatedly tried to undermine U.S. elections. He has such a reputation for meddling and manipulating elections that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/10\/federal-judge-eviscerates-russia-collusion-hoaxer-marc-elias-for-aiming-to-undermine-new-york-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">even a federal judge reprimanded him for it<\/a>. Unlike Douglass Mackey, who was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/social-media-influencer-charged-election-interference-stemming-voter-disinformation-campaign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charged by the DOJ<\/a>\u00a0for posting a meme encouraging Hillary voters to \u201ctext\u201d their votes, however, Elias has not faced any charges or unannounced raids.<\/p>\n<h2>5. President Joe Biden<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/18\/tax-records-show-that-in-2021-joe-biden-didnt-pay-his-fair-share-in-taxes-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A president avoiding paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes<\/a>\u00a0seems like the kind of thing federal agencies, including the recently financially invigorated Internal Revenue Service, should explore. Yet Biden, who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/06\/joe-bidens-released-tax-returns-dont-explain-millions-in-income-where-did-it-come-from\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hasn\u2019t explained millions of dollars<\/a>\u00a0of his recorded income, and First Lady Jill Biden together reportedly\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/05\/19\/his-returns-show-joe-biden-has-dodged-half-a-million-in-taxes-while-urging-tax-increases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dodged<\/a>\u00a0about $517,000 in Medicare and Obamacare taxes between 2017 and 2020 without scrutiny.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Hunter Biden<\/h2>\n<p>The president\u2019s son isn\u2019t just a walking liability for the Biden family name, he\u2019s a glaring national security threat with a long, infamous history of using illicit drugs,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/05\/28\/hunter-biden-bragged-about-smoking-crack-with-d-c-mayor-marion-barry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">engaging in possibly criminal sexual escapades\u00a0with foreign women<\/a>, and selling access to his dad under the guise of doing business with foreign oligarchs from places like <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/29\/senators-release-receipts-showing-direct-payments-from-foreign-oligarchs-to-hunter-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">China<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p> Besides all this and his reckless handling of a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/03\/26\/read-the-gun-background-check-form-where-hunter-biden-claimed-he-wasnt-using-drugs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lost gun in 2018<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 which, against normal protocol, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/03\/25\/report-secret-service-tried-to-clean-up-biden-family-mess-in-hunters-missing-gun-incident\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Secret Service reportedly helped him<\/a>\u00a0cover up \u2014 Hunter likely\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefdrlst.wpengine.com\/2021\/03\/25\/report-hunter-biden-may-have-lied-on-federal-background-check-form-to-purchase-a-gun\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lied on federal forms about his drug use<\/a>\u00a0to purchase that gun, a felony, with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden?source=%2Fpolitics%2Frevealed-hunter-biden-possession-of-a-controlled-substance-charge-kept-under-wraps-while-father-spearheaded-drug-war-from-senate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">barely a whisper of punishment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Eric Swalwell<\/h2>\n<p>Speaking of communist China, Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/12\/08\/fbi-communist-china-spy-infiltrated-california-politicians-including-russia-hoaxer-eric-swalwell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">canoodling with a known spy<\/a>\u00a0for the nation\u2019s No. 1 enemy seems like a pretty serious offense. Instead of a member of the House Intelligence Committee facing consequences for giving foreign spies access to key U.S. government offices and information, Swalwell is still comfortably\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepSwalwell\/status\/1558173258855247872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1558173258855247872%7Ctwgr%5E07660625dfb9c388e6f10afe4a95c4a24d257921%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.foxnews.com%2Fmedia%2Fswalwell-tells-trump-fans-avoid-wreckage-fbi-raid-gets-hit-alleged-romance-chinsese-spy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rage-tweeting about Trump<\/a>\u00a0and MAGA supporters and appearing as a guest on corrupt corporate media programs.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Eric Holder<\/h2>\n<p>Former Attorney General Eric Holder misled Congress during its investigation of the Obama-era \u201cFast and Furious\u201d gun-running scandal, which used taxpayer dollars to put guns into the hands of Mexican drug lords. Holder was held in contempt, but that\u2019s pretty much the only punishment he received for intentionally dodging subpoenas and hiding documents from congressional oversight.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Susan Rice<\/h2>\n<p>President Barack Obama\u2019s National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, unmasked members of the Trump transition team and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2017\/09\/14\/reminder-susan-rice-lied-role-obama-admin-unmasking-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">then lied about it<\/a>. Unmasking may be a legitimate and legal process for those with the authority, but covering up an attempt to target the political enemies of the regime is an abuse of power that deserves examination.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, it was yet another action taken by the U.S. intelligence apparatus to justify spying on American citizens.<\/p>\n<h2>10. The Pelosi Family<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/23\/nancy-and-paul-pelosi-are-trading-large-with-a-wealth-of-hypocrisy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Suspected insider trading<\/a>\u00a0deserves at least a second glance by federal investigators, but it looks like, so far, Nancy Pelosi and her husband Paul have gotten away with conveniently timing their stock purchases and sales to massively grow their wealth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/17\/democrats-say-no-one-is-above-the-law-but-this-list-of-their-corrupt-allies-proves-otherwise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[Read: \u201cDemocrats Say \u2018No One Is Above The Law,\u2019 But This List Of Their Corrupt Allies Proves Otherwise\u201d]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The same people who love lording \u201cno one is above the law\u201d over Americans are the ones who think they are above any semblance of oversight or law, or constitutionality.
