The team was subsequently found to be in violation of Sections 14.5.4.2.A of the NASCAR rulebook that covered the radiator duct assembly where they faced a USD 100,000 fine, together with the suspension of all four crew chiefs for four races.<\/p>\n<p>While the National Motorsports Appeals Panel upheld the decision regarding the $100,000 fine and the 4-race suspensions of each crew chief, NASCAR highlighted the importance of the point penalty as a significant deterrent against the violation.
