A grand jury in New York has issued an indictment against Trump, but specific details remain undisclosed. Pelosi, who remains part of Congress, tweeted, &#8220;The Grand Jury has acted upon the facts and the law. No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hopefully, the former President will peacefully respect the system, which grants him that right,&#8221; she added. Nevertheless, critics, such as Rudy Giuliani, have pointed out that according to the U.S. justice system, an individual is innocent until proven guilty.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani, who is a former Trump lawyer and ex-mayor of New York City, replied to Pelosi&#8217;s tweet by saying, &#8220;Wrong. So obviously wrong. Most Middle Schoolers know this\u2014at least they used to, when civics and the Constitution was respected in schools. You&#8217;re innocent until proven guilty.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Republican representatives, including Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-N.D.) and Rep.
