The rejection of the FOIA request was due to an ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Hur into Biden&#8217;s handling of classified government documents to determine if there has been any law-breaking. It is said that between 25 and 30 classified documents were known to have been found since November of 2022. Biden&#8217;s personal lawyers and the White House reportedly claim to be cooperating with the National Archives and Justice Department. However, there is a perceived lack of transparency among Democrats and Republicans alike.
