The president made his remarks during an event in North Carolina, where he condemned Republicans for blocking his gun control agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>During his speech, Biden expressed his support for the Second Amendment but noted that the constitutional right has limits. He emphasized that citizens are not allowed to own automatic weapons, machine guns, flamethrowers, and many other weapons. The shooter, who identified as a man despite being female, legally purchased seven guns from five stores. Biden&#8217;s calls for tougher gun laws are part of his ongoing efforts to enhance background checks on gun buyers without the need for additional legislation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>At the same time, the White House is concerned about the dangers posted by individuals suffering from mental illnesses. Authorities disclosed that the Nashville shooter was receiving treatment for an undisclosed condition.
