Janet Protasiewicz, the liberal candidate for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, has surpassed her conservative counterpart, Daniel Kelly, by a wide margin in campaign fundraising. During the final reporting period between February 7th and March 20th, Protasiewicz raised almost $12.4 million, while Kelly only managed to raise $2.2 million. In total, Protasiewicz has raised $14.5 million, with $8.8 million coming from the Wisconsin Democratic Party. Kelly, on the other hand, raised around $2.7 million, including $500,000 from the Republican Party of Wisconsin and $50,000 from county GOP parties and the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee.<\/p>\n

Although the Wisconsin Supreme Court race is technically nonpartisan, both candidates have received funding and support from their respective parties.
