A similar clamor of farmers in Belgium recently blocked the streets of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/opinion\/belgian-farmers-bring-brussels-to-a-standstill-in-massive-protest-against-eus-green-new-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brussels with 2,700 tractors<\/a>. Environmental policies that measure nitrogen and carbon but ignore future food supplies are reckless.<\/p>\n<p>The World Economic Forum (WEF) has heightened its focus on food production in recent years, claiming it wishes to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/communities\/shaping-the-future-of-food\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shape the future of food<\/a>\u201d and that \u201cthe global food crisis must be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/press\/2022\/05\/global-food-crisis-must-be-solved-alongside-climate-crisis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">solved alongside the climate crisis<\/a>.\u201d Moneyed interests have long jockeyed for greater world power and control, whether through organizations such as the WEF or corporate conglomerates seeking to dominate specific markets. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/partners#A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">list of multinational corporations<\/a> signed on with the WEF is impressive and includes the major food-producing companies of the world. There\u2019s a <em>lot<\/em> of profit in food, and even more power. Eclipsing elected governments to save humanity from climate change meshes comfortably with globalist intentions to save the world from hunger \u2014 and together, they promise complete domination.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-945989318\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div  class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-34b2649e8d45f1697f56ad3ae271f8dd fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-34b2649e8d45f1697f56ad3ae271f8dd\"><\/div>\n<p>In the 1970s, Henry Kissinger reportedly advocated making the provision of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thethinkingconservative.com\/who-controls-by-henry-kissinger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">food relief conditional<\/a> on nations\u2019 implementation of birth-control policies. If Kissinger, now a sitting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/people\/henry-a-kissinger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">member of the WEF<\/a>, was willing to blackmail whole societies with food five decades ago, he likely hasn\u2019t changed his Machiavellian tune. There\u2019s little difference between coercion to use birth control (to save the planet from overpopulation) and climate-change despotism to eliminate greenhouse gasses (to save the planet from the current population).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The timing of this push to reduce food production is ominous. The war in Ukraine has already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scientificamerican.com\/article\/war-in-ukraine-and-climate-change-could-combine-to-create-a-food-crisis\/#:~:text=Credit%3A%20Aleksey%20Filippov%2FAFP%2FGetty%20Images%20Russia%E2%80%99s%20war%20in%20Ukraine,prompted%20growing%20concerns%20of%20a%20global%20food%20crisis.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">disrupted world grain and other food supplies<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/tradingeconomics.com\/india\/exports-of-fertilisers#:~:text=Exports%20of%20Fertilisers%20in%20India%20decreased%20to%2020.83,Ministry%20of%20Commerce%20%26%20Industry%2C%20India%2010Y%2025Y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">India<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/global-development\/2022\/mar\/21\/fertiliser-prices-hit-new-highs-as-multiple-problems-affect-global-supplies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">China, and Russia<\/a> reduced exports of fertilizers needed to maintain agricultural productivity. Small farms have been steadily <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationsencyclopedia.com\/economies\/Europe\/Belgium-AGRICULTURE.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declining in Belgium<\/a> for decades, as throughout most of Europe, favoring large-scale industrial food producers and processors. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/articles\/2022\/08\/the_green_war_on_dutch_farmers_should_concern_everybody.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dutch farmers<\/a> are the most efficient and productive in Europe \u2014 where would that food be replaced from?<\/p>\n<h2>United States at Risk<\/h2>\n<p>The United States is vulnerable to disruptions with its globally entwined food production, processing, and distribution. The wealthiest nation in the world is potentially one of the most vulnerable to famine. For many decades, food in America has been quite inexpensive by historic measures, dropping to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valuepenguin.com\/average-household-budget\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">average 9 percent of household budgets<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Because food has been cheap, Americans have devalued it. Farmers are sneered at instead of respected. Once-verdant agricultural lands have been reforested, paved, or \u201cdeveloped\u201d for parking lots and urbanized living, or chopped into geometric patterns of suburban lots where vegetable gardens have mostly disappeared, replaced by lawns contaminated with annual applications of synthetic fertilizers, weed killers, and pesticides. That idyllic suburban order conceals a dangerous disconnect.<\/p>\n<div  class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c4820ac15df641edf991f1dbfde098ae fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c4820ac15df641edf991f1dbfde098ae\"><\/div>\n<h2>Profit-Seeking Corporations<\/h2>\n<p>Farmers are not the only victims of this folly. Drive-thru dining has corrupted a traditional communal kitchen-table celebration into an uncouth overindulgence in unhealthy foods.\u00a0Americans are <a href=\"https:\/\/money.yahoo.com\/chronic-obesity-rise-becoming-significant-090849525.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">increasingly obese<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/investigates\/special-report\/usa-diabetes-covid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">diabetic<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Count-Down-Threatening-Reproductive-Development\/dp\/1982113669\/ref=asc_df_1982113669?tag=bingshoppinga-20&#038;linkCode=df0&#038;hvadid=80608065546824&#038;hvnetw=o&#038;hvqmt=e&#038;hvbmt=be&#038;hvdev=c&#038;hvlocint=&#038;hvlocphy=&#038;hvtargid=pla-4584207591015058&#038;psc=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sterile<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/doctor-tells-tucker-americans-facing-health-crisis-processed-foods-national-emergency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cancer-ridden<\/a>. Vast swaths of the public suffer from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au\/health\/conditionsandtreatments\/heart-disease-and-food\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">heart disease<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/naturespureblend.com\/blogs\/collection\/procssed-foods-high-blood-pressure#:~:text=Another%20problem%20with%20processed%20foods%20is%20that%20they,15%20Tips%20To%20Help%20You%20Avoid%20Processed%20Foods%3A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high blood pressure<\/a> \u2014 largely due to cheap, processed, unhealthy food.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate America has long favored profit over customer health. Cigarette companies were <a href=\"https:\/\/tobaccocontrol.bmj.com\/content\/11\/suppl_1\/i110\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fully aware by the 1950s<\/a> that their products caused cancer, according to a study in the journal Tobacco Control, yet butts still hang from American lips \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalgeographic.com\/environment\/article\/cigarettes-story-of-plastic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a top plastic pollutant<\/a> and more <a href=\"https:\/\/truthinitiative.org\/research-resources\/harmful-effects-tobacco\/how-big-tobacco-made-cigarettes-more-addictive#:~:text=Experts%20found%20that%20Big%20Tobacco%20companies%20genetically%20engineered,tobacco%20smoke%20can%20more%20easily%20enter%20the%20lungs.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nicotine-potent<\/a> and toxic than ever. Do American consumers believe their food supplies are more sacrosanct to profiteers than human lungs?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Jefferson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monticello.org\/research-education\/thomas-jefferson-encyclopedia\/if-people-let-government-decide-what-foods-they-eat-and-what\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reputedly claimed<\/a>, \u201cIf people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Could it be that governments would conspire to favor economic gain above human health? Might <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/articles\/2022\/12\/grandpa_gates_fraudulent_co2_fetish.html?mibextid=S66gvF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bill Gates\u2019 acquisition<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/02\/27\/why-bill-gates-is-now-the-us-biggest-farmland-owner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vast tracts<\/a> of farmland, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/opinion-the-world-loses-under-bill-gates-vaccine-colonialism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">patents of vaccines<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/stephenmcbride1\/2021\/03\/22\/bill-gates-wants-rich-countries-to-move-to-100-synthetic-beef-but-heres-the-opportunity-behind-this-trend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">artificial meat<\/a> fabricated in fancy factories, be driven by the same <a href=\"https:\/\/unherd.com\/thepost\/bill-gates-wants-you-to-eat-artificial-meat\/#:~:text=Is%20fake%20meat%20grown%20in%20vats%20the%20solution%3F,the%20Gates%20one%20obscures%20others%20of%20social%20class.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">desire for material gain<\/a> that fueled his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/this-day-in-history\/microsoft-founded\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">creation of Microsoft<\/a>? Gates\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/01\/10\/bill-gates-bec-climate-fund-plans-to-invest-15-billion-in-clean-tech.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">extensive investments<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/4f66ff5c-1a47-11e5-a130-2e7db721f996\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">renewable energy<\/a> parallel the WEF\u2019s twin priorities of climate and food: altruism or savvy investment strategy?<\/p>\n<div  class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-418c40a408b92b70ce63bf09b01c888d fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-418c40a408b92b70ce63bf09b01c888d\"><\/div>\n<h2>Food Supply Shortages<\/h2>\n<p>Environmental policies feigning rescue from climate change will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/foodanddrink\/foodnews\/climate-policies-will-shut-down-farmers\/ar-AA18qeuU?ocid=msedgntp&#038;cvid=a1746faf800b4a27a61ecb768ac89ebf&#038;ei=33\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shut down farmers<\/a>, ensuring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldbank.org\/en\/topic\/agriculture\/brief\/food-security-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">higher food prices<\/a> and growing shortages. This increases vulnerabilities to global disruptions that already threaten us. Severing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/03\/16\/2-charts-show-how-much-the-world-depends-on-taiwan-for-semiconductors.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Taiwan\u2019s microchip trade<\/a> from the West would quickly shut down <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trucknews.com\/equipment\/component-shortages-have-truck-and-trailer-builders-stuck-in-traffic-jam\/1003150149\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tractor-trailer trucks<\/a> as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtractor.com\/blog\/special-update-the-global-tractor-microchip-shortage-is-awful-and-now-expected-to-last-until-2023--36678\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">farm tractors<\/a>. A strong Russia-China alliance could quickly trigger famines of <a href=\"https:\/\/theconversation.com\/famine-in-the-bible-is-more-than-a-curse-it-is-a-signal-of-change-and-a-chance-for-a-new-beginning-152288\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biblical literalism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. infrastructure of highways upon which food delivery depends is vulnerable to sustained interruption \u2014 by social unrest, economic collapse, and dependence on technology. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is <a href=\"https:\/\/fourwheeltrends.com\/can-a-diesel-truck-run-without-def-fluid\/#:~:text=In%20some%20trucks%20with%20low%20levels%20of%20DEF,the%20dashboard%20screen%20until%20the%20fluid%20is%20replaced.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">essential for the tractor-trailer trucks<\/a> that distribute Americans\u2019 foods. America imports most of its <a href=\"https:\/\/marketrealist.com\/p\/def-shortage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DEF from China<\/a>. Runaway inflation compounded by ever greater government spending will exponentially affect the price of most foods and could <a href=\"http:\/\/www.truenorthreports.com\/john-klar-social-justice-inflation-is-that-the-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">trigger a vicious cycle<\/a> of hyperinflation and currency collapse. Where will people find food?<\/p>\n<p>Vermont boasted some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benningtonbanner.com\/opinion\/columnists\/a-history-of-vermont-dairy\/article_ce657e9e-32c8-525c-8e48-4127a566a698.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">27,000 dairy farms<\/a> in 1927, <a href=\"https:\/\/vtdigger.org\/2019\/01\/13\/bulk-milk-tanks-altered-family-farm-way-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">11,000 in the 1950s<\/a>, and now it shamefully claims <a href=\"https:\/\/vermontbiz.com\/news\/2022\/may\/15\/vermonts-dairy-farms-which-way-forward#:~:text=While%20Vermont%27s%20dairy%20farms%20have%20decreased%20in%20number,have%20continued%20to%20spring%20up%20around%20the%20state.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fewer than 600<\/a>. The human population of the Green Mountains expanded with the installation of highways that often severed family farms; the native populations of chickens, pigs, and cows have been decimated. Most states have even less agricultural infrastructure than Vermont: America has abandoned its small farms. More people, less local food.<\/p>\n<p>If consumers think grocery store shelves were barren during Covid-19, they have not imagined the zombieland created by sustained <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rand.org\/blog\/2021\/11\/supply-chain-disruptions-the-risks-and-consequences.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interruptions of food<\/a> supplies. Imagine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanthinker.com\/articles\/2021\/12\/flash_mobs_.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">flash mobs<\/a> convening on empty buildings, seeking not Louis Vuitton but <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lorna_Doone_(cookie)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lorna Doone<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hormel.com\/Brands\/Hormel-Dinty-Moore\/Dinty-Moore-Cans\/DINTY-MOORE-Beef-Stew\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dinty Moore<\/a>. Survivors of the Great Depression tell tales of olden-times want, but their voices are weak and long-ignored by the modern assumption that there will ever be plenty.<\/p>\n<p>WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab, Kissinger, and Gates may have a plan. Americans planted \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/education.nationalgeographic.org\/resource\/fenway-victory-gardens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">victory gardens<\/a>\u201d in response to both world wars. Conflict over the control and <a href=\"https:\/\/yalebooks.yale.edu\/2017\/06\/07\/did-taxes-cause-the-american-revolution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">taxation<\/a> of food seeded American rebellion from Great Britain. In turn, that American Revolutionary rebellion was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smithsonianmag.com\/arts-culture\/the-food-that-fueled-the-american-revolution-25701053\/#:~:text=The%20Food%20that%20Fueled%20the%20American%20Revolution%20A,at%20Valley%20Forge%20Courtesy%20of%20Flickr%20user%20NetBeaver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">supplied with vital food<\/a> from a flourishing farming culture and economy, so that their souls would not live under tyranny.<\/p>\n<p>Many Americans clamor for their government to compel fellow citizens to receive mRNA vaccines. Experimental <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/health\/kids-health\/new-guidelines-treating-childhood-obesity-include-medications-surgery-rcna64651\">anti-obesity<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wng.org\/roundups\/doctors-puberty-blockers-are-a-dangerous-experiment-1617229035\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hormone-blocking drugs<\/a> for children abound. How quickly the government could be in control of <em>all food<\/em>. Then Americans would see the logic behind farmer-patriot Jefferson\u2019s warning of totalitarianism \u201cif people let the government decide what foods they eat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The specter of global corporations shutting down <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalresearch.ca\/myth-gmos-saving-planet\/5804013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">small farms for alleged pollution<\/a> is the epitome of Orwellian domination. In their quest to slay the climate-change dragon, global profiteers will scythe down humanity, destroying local agricultures like a global version of Sherman\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/Shermans-March-to-the-Sea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">March to the Sea<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Small-scale, local farms dispersed through the countryside are the best antidote to globalism.
