While the plane was pushing off from the gate, a man allegedly hurried to the front of the aircraft and asked a flight attendant, \u201cwhat do I do now?\u201d Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/delta-passenger-detained-lax-opening-exit-door-activating-emergency-slide-minutes-takeoff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cDelta flight 1714 operating from Los Angeles to Seattle returned to the gate due to an unruly passenger,\u201d the airline said in a statement to the outlet. \u201cThe aircraft was holding to taxi for takeoff when the passenger exited the aircraft and was initially detained by Delta staff ahead of being arrested by local law enforcement.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>After rushing to the front of the plane, the man was told by the flight attendant to sit down, but instead opened the emergency exit door, triggering the emergency exit slide to deploy. The plane stopped and the man slid down the slide.
