Reynolds, the first woman elected to the Hawkeye State office, authorized both bills into law.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to forbidding trans-identifying individuals from using school facilities and locker rooms that are not related to their biological sex, SF 482, also known as the&#8221; Bathroom Bill,&#8221; mandates that public schools keep separate restrooms, locker areas, showers, dressing rooms, and overnight accommodations for students of the opposing gender. According to the proposal, individuals may ask for unique accommodations if they&#8221; desire greater private.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; I am a family.&#8221; I am a mother.
