Although some details were altered in the Disney release, it was based on the well-known Hans Christian Anderson fantasy by the same name. The live-action version may now come with even more posts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Bailey said,&#8221; I&#8217;m really thrilled for my version of the movie because we&#8217;ve obviously changed that viewpoint of even her wanting to leave the sea for a boy.&#8221; It is significantly larger than that. It has to do with who she is, what she wants, her purpose, rights, and her life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAs women we are amazing, we are independent, we are modern, we are everything and above,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I\u2019m glad that Disney is updating some of those <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/feminism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span>themes<\/span><\/a><span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Combined reviews greeted the initial trailer&#8217;s September 2022 release, while a longer version made its debut earlier this month at the 95th Academy Awards. The underground scenes were dark and difficult to see, according to reviewers.
