He did so to kill her and be with another woman he was having an affair with.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The police have termed the tactic as a &#8220;heinous, complex and calculated murder.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>James Craig was taken into custody on suspicion of first-degree murder immediately after his wife&#8217;s third and final hospital visit. She suffered a severe seizure there, was put on a ventilator, declared medically brain dead, and taken off life support.<\/p>\n<p>A business partner of Craig had alerted the authorities about a potassium cyanide delivery to their medical practice, noting that they did not need such a chemical in their office. This led to an investigation into Angela Craig&#8217;s death.<\/p>\n<p>The police claimed that Craig &#8220;searched for ways to kill someone undetected, providing her poisons that align with her hospitalized symptoms, and working on starting a new life&#8221; with his mistress.<\/p>\n<p>Internet search history revealed that the dentist had done a few suspicious searches in the weeks leading up to his wife&#8217;s death. Some of these included &#8220;undetectable poisons,&#8221; &#8220;how many grams of pure arsenic will kill a human,&#8221; and YouTube searches for &#8220;how to make poison&#8221; and &#8220;top 5 undetectable poisons that show no signs of foul play.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Craig also ordered arsenic online using a fake email account, which was delivered on the day of the alleged poisoning incident at his dental office. However, FedEx intercepted the delivery of oleandrin, a poisonous plant extract, as per investigators&#8217; request.<\/p>\n<p>Text messages between Angela and James Craig on March 6 revealed that Angela had texted her husband, &#8220;I feel drugged&#8221; after feeling dizzy, unable to focus her eyes, and felt that her body was slow to respond.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cGiven our history, I know that must be triggering. Just for the record, I didn\u2019t drug you. I am super worried, though. You really looked pale before I left. Like in your lips even,\u201d Craig replied back to his wife.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Craig had allegedly drugged Angela in the past because he wanted to commit suicide and did not want his wife to be able to stop him, revealing the couple&#8217;s troubled marriage. After her sister&#8217;s death, Angela&#8217;s sister claimed that Craig told her that he did not want an autopsy to take place.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cJames said he felt if they couldn&#8217;t figure out what was wrong with her when she was alive, he wouldn\u2019t let them poke her more when she was dead,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The dentist is being held without bond and is not allowed to have contact with his six children.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
