She argued that President Biden&#8217;s approach had encouraged Russia&#8217;s invasion of Ukraine and had failed to support Kyiv. As a result, the United States must sufficiently aid Ukraine to &#8220;repel&#8221; Russia, rather than only giving enough to &#8220;slow&#8221; them. <\/p>\n<p>The former South Carolina governor also criticized Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for his statement that the war in Ukraine is just a &#8220;territorial dispute,&#8221; arguing that it is more than that. She stated that those who say the U.S. should ignore Ukraine, so it can focus on China, have it backward. Haley stressed that China would lose if Ukraine wins, therefor indicating that defeating Russia in Ukraine is essential to counteract Chinese and Russian powers in Europe, Asia, and worldwide. <\/p>\n<p>She also argued that the United States could help Ukraine without having to send in troops and issue blank checks.
