We have a president who clearly does not have a clue of what to do. We have a vice president who is an embarrassment and the best possible insurance policy for keeping Biden as president.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Not only is the show a situation comedy, but the Biden administration is a situation comedy,&#8221; added Gingrich. &#8220;That&#8217;s dangerous because the world is not a comedy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gingrich expressed his extreme concern for the crises the United States faces, coupled with &#8220;a president who&#8217;s totally out of touch with reality in terms of what&#8217;s going on in the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Americans need to understand this is not a game,&#8221; Gingrich said, pointing to <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/china\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">China<\/a> and Russia&#8217;s recent displays of power. &#8220;I personally, as a historian, think that this is the most dangerous period we have been in since Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas night in 1776. The number of things going bad are so great, and the threat to our civilization is so great that we really need a dramatic change.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gingrich suggested that Chinese President <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/xi-jinping\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Xi Jinping<\/a> and Russian President <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/vladimir-putin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vladimir Putin<\/a> are &#8220;gangster allies [who represent] a totalitarian, dictatorship-led world where they take care of each other against the democracies&#8221; \u2014 much like Italy, Germany, and Japan in the lead-up to World War II. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Unlike the 1930s, we have a president dedicated to weakness, dedicated to confusion, and whose family \u2014 you just saw this last week \u2014 got $3 million from the Chinese Communist Party in one check. There&#8217;s a lot of other money out there,&#8221; the former Republican House speaker said. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have no idea how corrupt the Biden family is, but what we do know is that with an attorney general who&#8217;s as bitter and, as frankly dishonest, as the current attorney general, nothing is going to be done,&#8221; Gingrich continued, referencing <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/manhattan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manhattan<\/a> Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg&#8217;s potential <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/indictment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">indictment<\/a> against Trump. &#8220;That&#8217;s a crisis in itself.
