On the same day, Fox News producer Abby Grossberg filed lawsuits against the company for its culture of misogyny and discrimination. She accused the Fox lawyers of attempting to coerce her into lying to investigators to protect top executives. Grossberg claimed that she and host Maria Bartiromo were meant to shoulder the blame for Fox&#8217;s repeated airing of conspiracy theories about Dominion Voting Systems and its supposed role in manipulating the results of the election. <\/p>\n<p>Fox News&#8217;s lawsuit came after Grossberg told the network that she intended to sue it for discrimination. Fox decided to sue her on Monday to prevent the release of its legal maneuvers.<\/p>\n<p>Grossberg&#8217;s allegations against Fox News of misogyny and discrimination include being asked whether Bartiromo was having a sexual relationship with House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy and overhearing Fox superiors call Bartiromo a &#8220;crazy b****&#8221; who was &#8220;menopausal&#8221;, among others. Additionally, on one occasion, Grossberg was allegedly pressured not to fact-check a segment with Rudy Giuliani.
