The next payment will arrive on March 31. Because April 1 falls on Saturday this year, the second round of payments will be in place of the April one. Individual filers will get $914 each, while beneficiaries will get $1,828. <\/p>\n<p><b>BANKING BUSINESS: HOW DO YOU TRANSFER MONEY BETWEEN BOTH BANKS?<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>On the first day each month, the Social Security Administration issues one monthly SSI Check. To ensure recipients have their checks by the first business day of each month, however, the agency will not release checks on a holiday or weekend. <\/p>\n<p>The recipient receives two checks per calendar month, but receives a total 12 payments each year. <\/p>\n<p>The payment is also available to eligible couples. They will be entitled to two payments of $1.371 each in March. Because the first month falls on a weekend between July and October, this is why you will see two payments. Due to Jan. 1, a national holiday in the United States, December gets two checks per year. <\/p>\n<p>The Social Security Administration issued the first SSI payments in January 1974.
