The president then boarded Marine One to go to Wilmington, Delaware for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Any reaction to House GOP&#8217;s memo about your family&#8217;s dealings, sir?&#8221; Iris Tao, NTD White House correspondent asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My family&#8217;s dealings?&#8221; Biden asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yes. From March 2017 to May 2017, payments were slowly sent to the Biden family accounts. These accounts included those belonging to Hunter, James and Hallie Biden.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After the Robinson Walker, LLC account received $3 million from State Energy HK Limited, Biden family members and their companies began receiving incremental payments over a period of approximately three months,&#8221; A memo from the committee stated. &#8220;The recipients of the money included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden and James Biden.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5081987\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><\/noscript> President Joe Biden and his son Hunter arrive at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, Syracuse, N.Y. on February 4, 2023. It is not clear who managed that account.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans claimed that the transfers were proof that a Chinese state energy company was connected to the Bidens, but their letters only indicated the fact that Walker&#8217;s account had been accessed and funds transferred to the Biden family accounts. This was March 2017. The money was not sourced from China.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the White House criticized Comer\u2019s findings and claimed that it was unnecessary to investigate Biden&#8217;s family. A spokesperson for the White House claimed that Hallie Bideen was being unfairly targeted in this case by Republicans.
