Cohen pleaded guilty and was sentenced to felony charges.<\/p>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s potential problem centers on Cohen&#8217;s company payment. The expense was claimed as a legal expense. Cohen&#8217;s retainer agreement was cited by the company. The retainer agreement didn&#8217;t exist, and the reimbursement wasn&#8217;t related to any legal services provided by Cohen. This leads to a possible misdemeanor criminal conviction for falsifying records in business.
